As the Caterham original Classic 7 embodied the features of the original Lotus 7, the Caterham Classic De Dion 7 utiilizes all of the design and engineering refinements that have been the hallmark of Caterham engineering. They bring all of the features of the Sevens and Ford high technology together to produce a car that is truly inspiring to drive. The Classic De Dion 7 is powered by the Ford Zetec all alloy, fuel injected 16-valve catalytic engine. The result is a very light car with exceptional performance and reliability. The balance and roadholding are as close as you can get to a single seater in a road car. All cars are fitted with 14 inch alloy wheels as standard. Standard equipment on the Classic De Dion 7's include fitting's for the Ford Zetec engine, ventilated 10" front discs and 4 piston calipers, choice of cycle or flared front wings, full instrumentation, bench seats, full windscreen and wipers, and full weather equipment.
